Panoramas

These large scale photographs are comprised of several images taken of the one scene, up to 360° either horizontally or vertically, which are then stitched together and manually cleaned up using Photoshop.

Panoramas capture more than can be achieved with one single shot, and produce some amazing distortions with a wide angle lens.

‘Some Other Country’ cover image

Victoria University Press, based in Wellington, used the Nugget Point lighthouse panoramic photograph to grace the cover of the fourth edition of ‘Some Other Country’, a collection of NZ short stories.
